Nippon Light Metal announced on 14th to discontinue aluminum electrolysis business operated in Kambara Works on March 31st. From now, the firm will supply refined bare metal (high-purity bare metal) based on import bare metal. Kambara Works had only been continuing aluminum smelting business in Japan because the works owned hydro-electric generation.
