Global nickel apparent consumption exceeds 1.18 million tons for Jan-Aug-The 19th China (Guangzhou)Int’l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

According to the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS), the global nickel production reached 158,500 tons and consumption reached 159,100 tons in August.
During January to August, the refined nickel production accounted for 1.14 million tons and the apparent consumption accounted for 1.18 million tons.
The nickel production reached 1.25 million tons, increased 16,000 tons compared with the same period of last year. On the contrary, the apparent consumption less than 100,000 tons year on year.
