Chinese screw exports to US decline, prices rise in Sep-The 19th China (Guangzhou)Int’l Fastener & Equipment Exhibition

The United States was the biggest country for Chinese screws exports. The exported quantity for September totaled 54,170 tons, declined by 20.46% y-o-y; the export value was US$93.32 million, rose by 2.16% y-o-y; the average export price was US$1.723/kg, rose by 23.01% y-o-y, which was the best price this year.
The average export price to the US for the previous three quarter of Chinese screws was US$1.586/kg, rose by 10.18% y-o-y; that of Taiwanese screws was US$2.580/kg. It meant the price difference between Taiwan and China was only US$0.922/kg.
