It is reported that the local distributors requested Taiwanese China Steel Corporation (CSC) to focus the issue about the domestic market continued affected by the steel plate imports from Japan and South Korea.
Currently, CSC''s distributors were facing the pressure on selling prime plate and tried to focus on the secondary steel plates which might have some profits.
However, the market prices of CSC''s prime plate and AP plate were nearly to the cost and the market demand was still weak. To compared the prices of imported plate and CSC''s secondary plate, the price from the last one would not be competitive.
