Xilin Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd., the largest steel company in Chinese northeast Heilongjiang province, had a debt of nearly RMB 24 billion. Although the losses have decreased in recent years, it still couldn''t sustain.
It was reported that Xilin Iron & Steel Group had filed for bankruptcy and reorganization with the court, and Yichun Intermediate People’s Court had already accepted this case on October 11th.
According to the regulations, the liquidation team of Xilin Iron & Steel Group was appointed as the administrator of Xilin Iron & Steel Group and Zhang Guojun, vice mayor of Yichun municipal government, as the person in charge.
