Chung Hung Steel, one of the major carbon steel flat re-rolling mills in Taiwan,
has announced to hike its new price for next January.
The company will
raise its new price by NT$300/ton for hot roll and cold roll coils and increased
prices for galvanized steel coils by NT$0~NT$300/ton.
Besides, Chung
Hung Steel announced to hike its export price by US$10~US$20/ton for next
February.
Industry sources said that Chung Hung Steel’s new price
announcement means that China Steel Corp. will have the highly possibility to
increase its new price for next March.
Meanwhile, the rising steel price
in North America market is one of the major reasons to support Chung Hung Steel
to hike its new price.
