According to the report, the United States Department of Commerce announced to conduct the affirmative determination in the anti-dumping duty on imports of
carbon and alloy steel wire rods from Belarus, Russia and the United Arab Emirates.
The petitioners were Gerdau Ameristeel Corporation, Nucor Corporation, Keystone Consolidated Industries, Inc. and Charter Steel, Inc.
The United States International Trade Commission expected to impose the damage determination on January 1st, 2018. Among them, they predicted to levy the anti-dumping rate by 280.2%, 436.8%-756.93%, 84.1% for Belarus, Russia and the United Arab Emirates, respectively.
