Germany factory manufacturer SMS group recently announced it will supply high-performance of hot-rolled steel to Indonesia steel manufacturer PT Krakatau Steel. It plans to start the production for the beginning of 2019 in Indonesia on the island of Cilegon.
Hot strip mill can produce maximum strip width with 1650 mm, for the first phase is expected to reach annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons, the second phase tor each annual capacity of more than four million tons.
SMS said that considering the quality, productivity and costs of production, new hot-rolling mill will allow PT Krakatau Steel and iron company for the highest demands
